Installing Sims 2 on th Eee pc? - portable dvd writer
I know how to install the actual Sims game, it's only my custom installation disk DRIV. I have an Eee PC 900 and a LiteOn 8x DVD burner (USB powered)
Help?

I guess you have Windows, because if you use Linux, it will not work very well.
With regard to the specifications of the Eee PC 900, hardly meet the requirements of the games.
If you have a T & L video card with at least 32 MB of video RAM, then at least the following information:
* 800 MHz processor or higher
* 256 MB RAM if Windows Vista, XP, Windows ME, Windows 98 or Windows 2000
* At least 3.5 GB of hard disk space
If you are a non-T & L capable video card (Intel Extreme Graphics or Radeon series 7000/VE) then you must at least:
* Processor 2.0 GHz or higher
* 256 MB RAM if Windows Vista, XP, Windows ME, Windows 98 or Windo2000 was
* At least 3.5 GB of hard disk space
Get the latest drivers for your video card. The manufacturers usually have the video drivers on their websites for download. Visit the nVidia, ATI, or visit the support site for the manufacturer of your computer to the latest drivers for video cards.

I personally do not try to install Sims 2 on this netbook, the question must be read Neary unplayable best.
